High Quality Oil and Beef Tartare

Beef tartare with red onions is an interesting dish but it is not that easy.
It is true that its preparation is very easy, since there is nothing to be cooked. However, the right formula for the right result is the choice of products: only fresh quality ingredients.

Ingredients that make the difference

🥩 First of all: selected meat purchased in the butcher’s shop and cut with a knife.
It must be consumed (raw, of course) strictly on the same day.

🫒 Then, add Agrimarconi’s superior quality extra virgin olive oil, for seasoning.
A generous drizzle of oil, to be precise.😍

🧅Finally, concerning the raw red onion, you have two valid options:

  • Tropea red onion (it has been cultivated in Calabria for 2000 years) so sweet, slightly spicy, but not pungent;
  • Breme red onion (grown in Lomellina, in the province of Pavia): crunchy, sweet and with a fair amount of spiciness.

Ingredients (for 2 people)

  • 250 gr of beef meat
  • 1 red onion
  • 80 gr of extra virgin olive oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper

Dish the tartare

These ingredients should be served giving a round or square shape with the pastry cutter, or freehand, creating a circle, a crescent or a strip and then … they must be enjoyed! Bon appétit! 🍴
