We like historical re-evocations! They are a bridge between past and present, a fascinating way to go deep into ancient eras. We recently attended the Historical re-evocation in Tuscany, in the village of Ponsacco.
Several reasons that make historical re-evocations so beautiful
✨ Dive into history – They allow to relive the daily life, traditions and culture of the past times, making history more tangible and exciting.
📜 Education and memory – They offer an opportunity to keep alive the roots and awareness of distant times.
🛡️ Enhancement of cultural heritage and territory – They often take place in historic places, helping to preserve and enhance medieval villages, castles and monuments that date back centuries and resist the passage of time.
🎭 Show and involvement – Not only education, but also entertainment! Historic dresses, ancient music, tournaments between districts, antique toys and sometimes dinners based on medieval dishes, which make historical evocations truly immersive and exciting.
🤝 Sense of community and belonging – They promote social aggregation, creating bonds between those who participate as re-enactors and as spectators.
People experienced all those aspects during the Historical Re-enactment of Ponte di Sacco, which took place on May 24th, in the village of Ponsacco.
In Tuscany, this type of shows are still much felt.
Between jugglers, historic dresses and playful moments, we exhibited our products: extra virgin olive oil, flavoured extra virgin olive oil and artisanal oil-based soaps.
Let’s share some shots of that exciting day.

A beautiful day that takes us back to our roots.
🌳And we know something about roots! 😉
